King Bob-Omb

So, basically, I've been up all night trying to unlock KBB in v.0.9, but I haven't been able to unlock him. I've played about 30 matches so far, and these are what I think is a problem:
-Midbus is not able to be recognized for some reason.
-Playing against Human players doesn't work
-His unlock got bugged in v.0.9

Anyways, could anyone help me with my situation? If you've had this problem before, please tell me if there's a solution, and if so how it is resolved.

Play with someone else than Midbus perhaps?

I tried Petey, too. I did 10 Matches with Petey, 12 Matches with Midbus, and 8 Matches with Shy Guy.

What I did was I just transferred my v0.8 save data with KBB unlocked and renamed it for v0.9.

I transferred my v.0.7 Data the same way, as I didn't play v.0.8.

I'm pretty sure KBO wasn't in v.0.7 though.

Not hard at all. You might have very small trouble with Shy Guy, but you should be fine.
